I'm pretty much biased to DC Vertigo, but I have a penchant for Wildstorm (mainly because of my undying love for The Authority). This is still pretty much a new thing for me, so I'm trying to read as much as I can, explore the comic book world and set down firm roots. I'm a fierce advocate for comics as a rising medium of art.

2. Japanese comics (manga)

I've been reading manga since 1999. The first I ever saw (not-really-read) was Fushigi Yuugi. The first I was able to read (partially) was Clover (Clamp). I'm partial to yaoi, but those manga are a dime-a-dozen (where I get them *wink wink*). Here's a list of manga that remains memorable for me:
